A contactless smart keycard, a watch or a bracelet can act as carriers.
Apart from the features of the standard keycard, a few advantages are added:
Audit trail in the actual keycard - this way it is possible to know where guests or hotel staff have been without checking the events in the locks.
Multiple uses: the chip’s bigger capacity allows to store information about loyalty programs, POS applications, electronic cash machine, etc.
